Blind Box Accessories: Accessories such as flashlights, compasses, thermometers, and laser pens are randomly given as "blind box" gifts, allowing users to replace pods with these accessories and expand the product's usage scenarios.

2Firsts, reporting from Shenzhen - 2Firsts observed that MASKKING, an e-cigarette brand under Mancosway (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd., recently launched a new e-cigarette, the LECO Kit. Its key feature is the "4 in 1" modular design, supporting the disassembly and DIY assembly of pods and batteries. It is now officially available on the brand's website.

MASKKING e-cigarette is a product of Deyan Future Technology Co., Ltd., a company based in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, established in 2019.

Comparison of product design and functionality

The biggest feature of the MASKKING LECO Kite-cigarette is its multi-functional design that allows for DIY customization. This design is similar to the DIY series product Z-Land released by Shenzhen Yiba Technology Co., Ltd.'s brand ZLad in 2024.

Specifically, the product parameters of MASKKING LECO Kit and Z-Land series are compared in the table below.

The MASKKING LECO Kit is a "4 in 1" e-cigarette product that can simultaneously accommodate four flavors of pods, with a total of approximately 2400 puffs. It features a pixel-style display screen that can show smoking time, battery level, e-cigarette status, and standby mode.

Official information also indicates that the screen of this product can also display mini-game animations, such as Snake and Pac-Man.

In addition, information from the official website of the MASKKING brand shows that the LECO Kite-cigarette kits will also randomly include accessories such as a flashlight, compass, thermometer, and laser pointer in a "blind box" format. Users can replace the pod in the "4 in 1" kit with these accessories, increasing practicality.

Previously, the MASKKING brand had also released a practical product combining e-cigarette and flashlight functions - the Maskking Moonlight 10000.

The Z-Land series includes 7 products: ZLand (e-cigarette device), ZLand Mini (e-cigarette device), ZColors (pod), ZColorsMini (pod), ZJoins (HNB device), ZJoins Mini (HNB device), and ZJoins Flavor (HNB device).

These devices and pods all use magnetic connection technology, allowing them to be connected to up to 3 ZColors or ZColors Mini pods. ZJoins utilizes magnetic connection technology to not only heat compatible cigarette sticks, but also to be used in combination with up to 1 ZColors series pod.

As a result, MASKKING LECO Kite-cigarette has a stronger entertainment and utility attribute, while the Z-Land series products have a more diverse and stronger personalized experience.

Product Feature Analysis

Based on the images and information publicly released by MASKKING LECO Kit, researchers from 2FIRSTS analyzed its product characteristics. In terms of product design, the framework structure of MASKKING LECO Kit is similar to a "container" for storing pods.

Although the product can accommodate four pods at the same time, each pod is independent and users need to manually adjust the pod position when switching flavors.

In terms of battery capacity, this product has a capacity of 450mAh, which is lower compared to most e-cigarette products currently on the market. This lower capacity may not fully meet the demands for extended periods of vaping and the power needs of a pixelated screen.

As of now, MASKKING LECO Kite-cigarettes are only being promoted on the MASKKING brand's official website and social media accounts, and are not yet available on online e-cigarette distributor websites.

2Firsts conducted on the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) e-cigarette notification system also did not reveal any public notices for MASKKING LECO Kite-cigarettes.

EU ‘TPD3’ Enters Next Phase on Aug. 14 as Fragmented Vape and Nicotine Pouch Rules Push the Single Market Toward Regulatory Overhaul
A 12-week European Commission consultation on revising the Tobacco Products Directive and Tobacco Advertising Directive is due to close on Aug. 14, 2026. The Commission has identified e-cigarette flavours, disposable vapes, tobacco heating devices, nicotine pouches, nicotine-free e-cigarettes, packaging and digital marketing among areas for possible new EU rules. National regulations already vary significantly across the bloc, a fragmentation the Commission says creates internal-market barriers and distorts competition. No formal revised TPD/TAD legislative text has yet been published, with the Commission currently indicating December 2026 for the legislative initiative.
