Massive Smuggling Bust by BPFron in Brazil "Protector Operation

Border police in Brazil seized a large amount of smuggled items including e-cigarettes, phones, and computer memory, totaling over $114,000.

According to a report by jornaldooeste on August 12th, in Brazil's "Guardians Action," the Border Police Camp (BPFron) seized a large quantity of illegal smuggled goods, including 1550 e-cigarettes, 230 cell phones, and 11,000 computer memory units, all of which had not gone through proper customs procedures. It is estimated that the total value of the illegal goods seized in this operation exceeds 1.14 million Brazilian reais (approximately 210,000 US dollars).

According to reports, five individuals involved in the case, including vehicles, have been arrested by the police and will be transferred to the Iguassu Federal Tax Bureau along with the confiscated items.
