Philip Morris to Launch Limited Edition IQOS ILUMA Neon Purple in Slovakia
Philip Morris will launch limited edition “Neon Purple” IQOS ILUMA in Slovakia on June 10, inspired by summer colors.

According to a report from Topky.SK on May 29th, Philip Morris International (PMI) will be launching a limited edition color "Neon Purple" for the IQOS ILUMA in Slovakia on June 10th.

"IQOS ILUMA Neon Purple" is an original design that has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Inspired by the colorful energy of summer, the design incorporates trendy neon purple and pink. The company announced that this new product will be launched in June.

Alexander Tolmachev, deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, said the issue of licensing vape circulation will be resolved at the legislative level in the coming months. A European study cited in the report says the share of young people aged 15 to 19 who are current e-cigarette users increased from 14% in 2019 to 22% in 2024, with Italy reflecting the broader European pattern. Over the same period, conventional cigarette smoking among young people is described as declining, with the proportion of students who have smoked at least once in their lifetime falling sharply from 1995 to 2024, and the largest drop occurring between 2019 and 2024.

Malaysia maritime officers seize nearly 16,500 vapes in suspected cross-border smuggling bid
According to Malay Mail and Bernama, Malaysia’s maritime enforcement agency intercepted a suspicious lorry at a jetty in Kedah’s Kuala Sanglang and seized nearly 16,500 vape devices worth more than RM500,000 (about US$125,000). Three men were detained for investigation, and the case is being probed under Malaysia’s Customs Act 1967.
