2Firsts, reporting from Shenzhen - Russian State Duma member Igor Antropenko proposed amending the "Law on Non-Litigation Blocking of Tobacco Sales Websites" to include provisions restricting information on homemade e-cigarettes and other tobacco consumption products, RIA reported.
The parliamentarian stated in an interview with RIA that, "I propose to add restrictions on information pertaining to devices used for consuming self-made tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) in the proposed legislation on the non-judicial blocking of the sale of tobacco products online.
The congressman further added that there is a lot of content on the internet, such as videos with titles like "The Easiest Way to Make an e-cigarette," "How to Make an e-cigarette," and "Make your own e-cigarette for only 25 rubles."
He believes that the proposed legislative provisions should be expanded to include such content related to the non-direct sale of tobacco products in order to strengthen regulation in this area.
