Russia's E-Cigarette Liquid Sales Soar in Q2 2024
Russia's e-cigarette liquid sales surge by 23.4 times in Q2 2024, reaching 51.25 thousand liters worth 198 billion rubles.

According to a report from IVBG on October 5th, the Russian national product labeling system "Honest Mark" (Честный знак) released data stating that in the second quarter of 2024, Russia sold 512,500 liters of e-cigarette liquid, totaling 198 billion rubles (2 billion US dollars). This sales volume is 23.4 times higher than the same period in 2023.


In 2024, the number of manufacturers producing e-cigarette liquid has increased to 102, up from 68 in the same period last year. The number of retail outlets legally selling e-cigarettes has also increased by 178,200 in the past two years, reaching a total of 235,600.


In May 2024, the Russian State Duma submitted a bill to ban the retail sale of e-cigarettes containing and not containing nicotine.
