West Indian Tobacco Company Enters E-Cigarette Market with Vuse Go
WITCO to launch e-cigarette market with Vuse Go brand in Trinidad and Tobago, catering to adult nicotine users.

According to loopnews on April 18th, West Indian Tobacco Company Limited (WITCO) has made the decision to enter the e-cigarette market by including the British American Tobacco's e-cigarette brand Vuse Go in their sales product list for the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago (Champs Fleurs).

On Wednesday, during a special press conference at WITCO, the company's CEO Raoul Glynn stated that WITCO is catering to adult consumers who use nicotine and recognizes that their preferences are changing. Additionally, he also mentioned that e-cigarette products offer a lower-risk alternative compared to traditional combustible tobacco.

The product launched by WITCO has a starting price of 130 Trinidad and Tobago dollars (19.21 USD) and each 2ml pod can provide up to 100 puffs, equivalent to three packs of traditional cigarettes. The Vuse Go 700 (non-rechargeable) and Vuse Go 3000 (rechargeable) products will be available for purchase at all Massy Stores convenience stores starting next Monday (the 22nd), with plans to be sold in 300 stores nationwide within the first month of release.
