Ministerial Order No. 502/2023 has established the Egyptian National Standard No. 2023/8685 regarding the electronic device safety requirements for e-cigarette use. Ministerial Order No. 498/2023 has established the Egyptian National Standard No. 2023/8724 regarding general requirements for the display, sale, and storage of tobacco alternative products.
Furthermore, all e-cigarette registrations and the assignment of sales locations for these products will be managed by the committee mentioned above.
