Brazilian Police Seize Illegal E-Cigarette Products Worth $18,000
Brazilian authorities successfully intercepted a shipment of illegal e-cigarettes, worth over $100,000, in Parana State. The suspect remains at large.

According to an announcement on the official website of the Brazilian Federal Police on October 14, Brazilian authorities successfully intercepted a shipment of illegally trafficked e-cigarette products.


On October 14, federal police, in conjunction with the Paraña state police, intercepted 11,000 e-cigarettes in Velackloos, Paraña state. The market value of this shipment is estimated to be over 1 million Reais (18,000 US dollars).


According to the police, the driver of the truck carrying the e-cigarettes abandoned the vehicle and fled into a nearby forest when faced with inspection. Currently, the suspect has not been found, and the case is still under further investigation.
