With a professional attitude and keen insight, they engaged in in-depth discussions with over 20 international tobacco companies and brand merchants. Furthermore, they conducted exclusive interviews with well-known international tobacco companies such as China Tobacco International Hong Kong (CTIHK), Philip Morris International (PMI), British American Tobacco (BAT), Altria, and KT&G, obtaining a wealth of first-hand industry information.

Below is an excerpt from the interview article:
PMI Aims to Bring ZYN Nicotine Pouches to Germany and Accelerates Pod-Based E-Cigarette Rollout
BAT Presents Innovative Vuse Go Device at InterTabac Expo
KT&G Eyes Global Expansion with New Vape Brand Myon and HNB Innovations at InterTabac
In these exclusive interviews, PMI revealed to 2FIRSTS that they are currently actively lobbying the German government for the legalization of nicotine pouches in order to successfully enter the German market with their brand ZYN and further expand market share. BAT, on the other hand, told 2FIRSTS that they believe there are regulatory risks associated with the current popular high nicotine content products in Europe, and therefore do not plan to launch that type of product in the future. Instead, they are focusing on directions that align with their own development strategy and market trends. KT&G shared their plans to launch the e-cigarette brand MYON in global markets.

This exclusive information not only enriches the exhibition's reporting content but also provides industry insiders and outsiders with valuable insights into the strategic layout and market dynamics of international tobacco companies, highlighting the unique position and important value of 2FIRSTS in industry reporting.
2FIRSTS CEO delivers keynote speech discussing the role and value of news media in harm reduction efforts related to new tobacco products
On the second day of the Dortmund Tobacco Expo, Alan Zhao, co-founder and CEO of 2FIRSTS, was invited to speak at the exhibition forum and delivered a speech titled "The Role and Value of News Media in Harm Reduction of NGPs (Novel Tobacco Products)." He emphasized how inadequate news coverage hinders the development of harm reduction efforts for novel tobacco products and reduces the effectiveness of governmental decision-making. Zhao called for support from all parties for the media to provide more comprehensive and objective coverage of the industry.

In his speech, Zhao emphasized the key role of the media in providing comprehensive information, promoting industry transparency, and driving policy making. He pointed out that the lack of news coverage is hindering progress in harm reduction programs, and comprehensive media reporting is crucial for this process.
In the conclusion of his speech, Zhao Tong expressed confidence in a future of reduced harm and offered several recommendations.
Influential media should pay more attention to the e-cigarette industry to highlight its positive role in harm reduction through NGPs. Governments should improve communication with the media when formulating and implementing policies to ensure transparency and accuracy of information. New tobacco companies, especially large corporations, should increase transparency. While many companies tend to remain silent and avoid media contact, greater transparency is needed for harm reduction through NGPs and is also a part of corporate social responsibility.
Zhao Tong promised that 2FIRSTS will continue to use its influence and resource advantages to work closely with governments, businesses, and media worldwide to build a global NGP information sharing network. Through the power of media communication, they aim to enhance the public's comprehensive and objective understanding of NGP, promote high-quality development of the industry economy, support more effective public decision-making, and accelerate the global NGP harm reduction process.
